Show Thursday, April 6, 1933. I attended the opening session of L.D.S. General Conference and listened with great interest to President Heber J. Grant bear his wonderful testimony to the truth of the Gospel. Dora Holther and I had lunch and then returned to the Tabernacle for afternoon session. I met Dr, Cleone & Myrene who came down today, we had dinner at Dicks Caf and drove home. I am rather tired but rejoice in all the wonderful talks & have heard.Friday, April 7, 1933. Have spent most of the day home getting home in shape again.Late this afternoon Dr and I drove down to Salt Lake to attend a dinner and dance given by his Fraternity at the Union Bld. At the University of Utah. The oldest Frat connected with the State. Only he and Dean Bennion of the U were present of the old members. We had a very enjoyable time and met Mr & Mrs Sessions of Pocatello Ida. Dr & I stayed all night at the Utah. A letter from Oertel. |
