Show Thursday, November 2, 1933. Spent today from 830 A.M. to to six P.M. at Community Service served about 70 people to salt pork underware, shirts, dresses, sleeping garments, Hose, over alls & some used clothing. Was called to be present at a prohabition meeting at the Court House but ask my councelor Marth Cooley to go in my place. Retired and read my Literary lesson on Greek Lit by Macey. Dr is more buisy of late. Friday, November 3, 1933. This A.M. I did up all my house work went down to Quinn Factory and farther arranged for the Red Cross cutting of 3000 yr of print for childrens dresses. I set lunch for Dr and went to Junior Central High School to hear a lecture on Greek Lit by Mrs Christain Jensen. Enjoyed it very much she read a part of The Trail of Socrates. Myrene and I went down town I bought shoes at Nyes price 9.50 and hat at Wrights 7.50 am now quite well off for my winter cloths. Styles are very pretty this year. Prepared dinner did up kitchen work wrote a letter to Mary and read some. Also made a call on Bertha E Wright. |
