Business Statistics I (3) A, § Introduction to concepts and applications of statistics in business and economics. Topics include summary statistics, probability distributions of random variables, sampling, and estimation. Class will include use of computers. Prerequisite: Math 1050 with a C- or higher grade (or CR if taken on a CR/NC basis) or equivalent as determined by the Math Department. 2610. Business Statistics II (3) A, § Continuation of Quant 2600. Topics include test of hypotheses, economics. This will assist them in providing their students with the fundamental economic tools needed to evaluate complex national and international events that are a part of their daily existence.
