Perry said he is grateful we have people interested in running because it puts the issues out there for the people. Perry's Democratic challenger, first-time politician Kerry Wayne of Marriott-Slaterville, said he loves the idea of more candidates running for a particular office. "The more people we have involved in politics, the better," he said. "People need a choice. When they do have a choice, it pulls them back to the center." The First United Methodist Church in Marriott-Slaterville re-enacted Leonardo da Vinci's "The Last Supper" painting as part of its Easter Week services on Thursday, March 29, 2018.
