Some of the 379 singers planned to tour France and Belgium before departing, but almost all are expected to return home within a week. Church President David O. McKay said he will leave tomorrow for the United States after a highly successful Europe visit. Before splitting up yesterday, members of the choir attended a final religious service under the auspices of the French mission of the LDS Church. In its final appearance in Europe the choir sang to 3,000 persons in a performance in the Palais de Chaillot.
