Show The Salt Lake Tribune May 12 55 Utah Mother Wins Praise Utahs Mrs. Lavina Christensen Fugal, American Mother of the Year, made a wonderful impression in the east and did the state a lot of good, Mrs. Walter A. Kerr, chairman, Utah Mothers Committee, said Wednesday. Mrs. Kerr returned late Tuesday from New York, where she attended the American Mothers Committee, Inc., national convention at which Mrs. Fugal was honored. While in New York she stayed in the mothers suite in the Waldorf Astoria with Mrs. Fugal. Mrs. Fugal is expected to return to her home in Pleasant Grove in about a week. |
