The diaries also include newspaper and magazine clippings, memorabilia and pins. |

Show Ogden Standard Sept 11th 1955 NATIONAL MAG PREDICTS OGDEN WILL GROW FAST Metropolitan Ogden is expected to continue its rapid population growth during the next 10 years at a rate considerably faster than the national average, according to a national business magazine. The publication, Sales Management, reports that the Ogden metropolitan area population of 96,700 is now 193rd in the country. By 1965, the magazine forecasts, it will advance over 24 other cities to 169th place. The estimates are based upon the continuance of present growth trends. Ogden is one of 85 metropolitan areas whose rate of population growth should be so great they will rise in rank above other cities, the magazine says. |
