Show Granddaddy, License Holders Warned Tribune Nov 18 1955 Utah motorists holding granddaddy type drivers licenses must take an eye test by Jan. 1, 1957. This reminder was issued Thursday by George C. Miller, director of the State Drivers License Division. He said a number of inquiries had been received. The 1955 Legislature made it mandatory that such license holders have an eye examination by the Drivers License Division before Jan. 1, 1957, and each five years thereafter, he said. Mr. Miller also pointed out that the law now requires any driver seeking a license renewal regardless of what kind of license he liolds to have an eye test. The eye tests are given at Drivers License Division offices at the Capitol, the Utah State Fairgrounds, and in Ogden, Logan and Provo, and by the field examiners in other parts of the state, Mr. Miller said. |
