Show Monday July 6 Maudie on the job this am & everything going on nicely. Nan & I to mortuary at 10. Mr. Ron W. Hanson there in his last sleep. A few errands around town after then home for a good lunch of Maudies getting. Ray brought us a number of trout which we enjoyed much. Nan left at 5 pm to go to Salt Lake for diner at Jesies with visiting relatives. Marie came & we went over bills etc & got everything in shape. Ray working in the gardening. All things look lively now. Tuesday July 7 Maudie came & got breakfast for 9 am did her dusting & some preparation for lunch then went to her Relief Society leaving Nan to carry on There was not much to carry on but Nan saw us through all night. A very lovely day not too hot. After lunch of Nans putting on we settled down to a pleasant pm. Nans daughter Melba two boys Steph & John visited few minutes as did Mr. Wardleigh RS Teacher also. Phoned to Dorothy & find Margaret is still in Seattle. I sent her a birthday card. |
