Show Tuesday July 21 Cont visited. Elizabeth & Don came in for a nice visit. Rosabelle and Edith both busy getting ready to go to Calif. tomorrow. Edith came over very tired & depressed. We took her for a ride which cheered her up Very tired in eve. and so to bed. Wednesday July 22 We started out the day with high temperature outside 90 degrees already. We have our house nicely air conditioned so are very comfortable inside. Ray working in garden Nan picked lovely begonias in the garden lovely Mandy and I had lunch together. Nan went out for the pm home at 530 Wednesday July 22 Cont. She met Mary for lunch & visited various people. Home at 6 pm. Maudie did some ironing & took me to Elizabeths at 3 pm. visited there until 5 pm. Elizabeth did some reading for me Wm Penn the subject a too very interesting one. Elizabeth brot me home at 530 & visited Dr Charles came to look over my eyes. I had company at Joe & Russ & the 2 girls & Edith went to Calif this am. Nan & I out for a ride in eve. more pleasant than sometimes weather some cooler. Pretty tired & to bed in good time. |
