Show Wednesday Wednesday July 8 Cont and some account of their extensive Eastern trip. Nan home at 730 & we had a sample of the turkey which Maudie had put to cook in the oven. A promise of big things tomorrow. Played some checkers. I feeling better, but very ready to go to bed. Nan feeling fine. Thursday July 9. A date always to be remembered the anniversary of Papas death in 1905. We still remember him with reverence & love. Nan took Edith Rosabelle & me to cemetery with flowers. Laurie met us there to complete the family gesture of respect Margaret still in Seattle Maudie finished our turkey dinner. |
