Show Monday July 20 Muggy hot this am. Hope we may have rain for the thermo huvers around 100 Maudie on her job. Nan went out on an errand early this AM & soon back ac heat. Had a man come to fix the washing machine. I had quite a time with my leg. Out got around quite well with my walking friend. Nans brother Rus & wife Lein visited in the pm. Burt Fisher came as ward teacher for a nice call. At 7 pm. Nan & I with Edith went to call at mortuary to see Zina & Family & Mr Hardy died last Sunday. I quite tire in eve but my leg pain some better. Tuesday July 21 Another bright am but warm again. Ray at work in the garden. We have a lovely lot of flowers in bloom but I cannot see much of them. Dr Olson called to check Nan & me. We are OK he thinks. My leg somewhat better today and I am making god use of my walker. Mr. Grossley came & I paid him for his garden work. I have begun reading about Wm Penn & found it most interesting & enlightening. Taking a different medicine (darfon &) It relieves my pain but makes me rather stuffed Maudie did her usual work & left at 130 pm. Nans Melba and children |
