Show Friday August 21 1964 My leg some better this am. At least I am able to cripple around. Nan feeling so much pain. Nan feeling better this am. She is almost herself again Maudie came & did her morning work and left at 130 pm. Dorothy came for a nice visit and Margaret & Rosabelle after. Also Edith came in so we had a kind of family party At home all day & more or less comfortable with my leg. In the eve Burt Fisher & Mary visited most pleasantly to tell of their trip to C to see Molly and her new baby Dorothy. Edith took me over to spend the night A better day yesterday but still uncomfortable Bob Weir finished putting up a porch and it looks very nice. Saturday August 22 Nan carrying on alone as Maudie does not come on Saturday and Sunday unless on invitation. I got up feeling a little better with my leg Nan feeling OK she says. Mr. Hampson came to arrange on porch, beautiful, cool day I walked out on the terrace with Nans help in chair Blanche Johnston had Mrs Harris visited for Relief Society Out for a ride in eve after we had a little supper & home. Leg quite bad |
