Show Wednesday 15 Cont when we went to the hospital. In the maternity department I was placed on a bed & Mr M charge for the gave me attention. Meanwhile 4 babies were born in the department and we both heard & saw two of the babies. Came home at 230 and ready to go to bed for a rest. Nurse called Dr Olson during my stay & got his Could stay the nite but didnt. My Nurses name was Mrs Raat. Thursday July 16 In spite of our lack of rest. Nan & I both got up and dressed for the breakfast which Maudie prepared at 9 am Thursday July 16 Cont Nan & I both dressed and ready for 9 oclock breakfast prepared by Maudie. We had very little sleep and feel a little below par, but still ready to meet the day. Martha came and quietly did her usual good task of tidying the house. Dr Olson called & said he had ordered new medicine for me. My condition not so bothering but still not satisfactory. A nice card from Margaret telling of their being quite comfortably settled in Seattle. Ralph called in with note from Dorothy and the addresses of Seattle folks. A wrought iron man (Ballene) to arrange for railing & posts at East door to prevent stumbling over step I took it very easy all day to get caught up on last nghts loss of sleep. |
