Show Thursday July 16 Cont Nan feeling surprisingly well. She even took time out to clean & rearrange our lunch. We took Martha home at 5 pm & continued for a ride to North Ogden up Ogden Canyon & back & after calling at home for a few flowers went to the cemetery for Nan to visit her husbands grave and this the 13th anniversary of her husbands death. Her son Max visited on the phone from California as did also Scott. In later eve Betty also called remembering the day Edith little Monette visited a while in eve. I am having good success with my walker getting to learn to walk better. Tired & to bed but not too early. Friday July 18 A sunny am somewhat on the warm side. Maudie came on usual & we were all nicely fed and tidied in the house. Dee Company meeting in pm. all present. Laurie Edith & I. We had reports and made a draw a quite sizeable one. In eve Nan took us for a long ride out in the outskirts It seemed to upset my leg so I came home with much pain. My jog with the walking machine is over for the time being it seemed. Edith with us for the ride. I phoned Margaret who was very glad to hear from me. |
