Show Friday 24 Cont. In eve sent cards to Katherine Milligan, Dorothy S. Peggy, Margaret & Elizabeth. Saturday 25 Slept in Ediths room. Dressed in my room and ordered room service breakfast. Heavy rain this am & thru the day I went to surf lounge to get a look. In our room reading Stanley Gardner book & listening to radio. Had a snack at noon in Surf dining room. Craig and Grail & small Trinka came at 2 pm & visited until about 7. We took them for dinner at Andres. Rain cleared in eve. Spent my time in my room reading and fixing up our accounts Sunday 26 Breakfast in my room. Edith ead the Gardner book. Lunch at the hotel. A fashion show going on. Weather fine today. We took taxi to the Art Gallery & spent some time looking at a rather sparse collection in a very fine building built for the future. Sat out at Victor Hugo gardens & watched the ocean. By taxi back to hotel Nan & her brother Jerry & wife. Jane & husband Met & sister Ruth visited us a short time. More reading after We finished the Pery Mason book & had light lunch before the coffee shop. And so to bed. Monday 27 Nan & I to breakfast We shopped at the dress (Lous I bought two dresses & Edith bought one. |
