Show Monday 4 Cont. while Nan went down to the Doctors (her appointment) & did a little shopping. Had rather a pleasant & profilable day planning for Christmas in spite of my sickness. Many calls about club meetings etc. Talked with Henry He is getting along slowly. In eve. with Nan finished reading Gods Oddling by Jesse Stewart. Tuesday 5 Sitting around all day until 330 when Nan & I went out to do a few errands. Cards & paper at Bookmarks. Saw gifts at Modlings for nieces & nephews & got for Susans gift. At Juvenile Shop got childrens gifts. Fine weather. Wednesday 6. Put on my new Laguna dress Wednesday 6 Cont. To Ladies Literary 1 pm. Nan took me and Helen Stone brot me home. A nice luncheon of which I ate very little and am amusing book review by Cleone Eccles. Nans pm out I did reading at Jeaneine is French by Alexander. Nan home early. Weather threatening. Thursday 7 Nan & I candied walnuts for Acacia gift made shopping tags for gifts & sorted mail. Ralph & Dorothy came for a short call. Marie came at 6. We spent 2 and one half hrs. on bank account & paying bills. Snow came on in later eve. continued thru the night. Talked with Margaret on the phone Friday 8 A big snow storm in night, but clearing by pm. Acacia at Country |
