Show Saturday Cont. some new medicine which did me much good. Able to listen to a basket ball game and I play a game with Nan before going to bed at 1130. Lady Porter ask me to write this up to date Sunday 18 She feeling under the weather we did not go to SS Mr Dee called in the AM. Edith Wade and Melba came to get a music book etc. Later Elizabeth and Don came visted for a while Me home all day had game of checkers to bed at midnite Monday 19 Lady Porter feeling some better had breakfast in her room. Me out for a couple of hours A.M. Mary Goodman came to see about news for her trip after a call from Mr Child Tues 20 The day of the successful shot in to space. Later John Glenn around the world 2 times a speed of over 17,500.00 miles an hr We were very much interested. Later Lady Porter was dreadfully sick Dee Peterson said to stop kidney pills and keep her quiet. She to bed at 430 PM truly miserable. Vomiting!! Wed 21 Mrs Porter surprisingly better after last nites performance She decided to just take half flush pill AM and half PM. Fine all day. Me out early in P.M. Home by 5 PM. Comfortable day followed by vomiting in middle of nite Very bad and terribly sick Thursday 22. Feeling surprisingly better after the nites spell. Sat around in House coat. Arch and Peggy came and stayed till 5 p.m. I fixed a nice lunch. Lady Porter very happy had a wonderful visit with them Mr Dee came and visited a short time while they were here.
