Show Wednesday Up early for breakfast. Nan left at 930 to go to her Uncles funeral George Q. Morris in Salt Lake Tabernacle. Mary Goodman came & got a skirt & blouses I am giving her. She did some dusting Peggy came & borrowed some luggage for a trip. Mary got us a nice lunch & cleared up before she left at 2 pm. Peggy & I visited. She went home at 4 pm. Rosabelle & Laurie called. Elizabeth brought Doris to stay until 10 pm. when Nan took her home. Nan had a very successful trip. I very tired in eve. Stormy at night. Shreeves man spent day mowing lawn, etc. Thursday 26 Clear weather again this am. I prepared things for Drama Club this eve. I assisting hostess at Ruth Thatcher. Nan busy on garden Nans Melba came & we had a nice lunch Nan prepared In later pm. Richard Mack, wife & baby and Edith came & got a table I gave them. To Drama Club at 715 to take punch etc I had prepared. A full meeting at 730 at Ruth Thatchers Alice Wests play read by a talented group. A big effort on Alices part trying for a Broadway acceptance Nan called & brought me home. She had spent the eve. at Jemies over |
