Show Saturday 13 Feeling better this am. Mr. Knapp called & we went to Country Club for annual meeting at Pink Ladies. An organization of 12 members now members 126. Luncheon installation of officers & some talks Home 430 Much snow consumed. Sunday 14 Sunday School 10 am. Lots of snow but roads passable. Dinner at home. Nan out at 3. I reading to end of Sense and Sensibility and various TV programs with Dicks picture for company. Nan home early Monday We are still in the midst of winter and getting tired of it. With Nans help. I sorted our Christmas cards to answer those with notes (having notes) I wrote to Leota who has had her eye operation and is able to read. I reviewed some of Sense and Sensibility. Monday Cont and sent it back. Heard from Dr Alen that he had contacted Dr Drew Peterson whom I am to call Nan & I out in pm. To Samuels & bought a nice, big bag (purse) A nice long ride to Melbas Sun shining brightly. Stopped at Starlight for supper. Nan read Whitmers Snow Bound very appropriate to the Quite inspiring. A little upset about change in Doctors Olives voice sounded so comforting & appreating over the phone. Tuesday 16. Sun shining like Summer this a.m. Tuesday 16 I wrote letters to Dee and to Fern & Frank. Read some a poor detective story very short. Nan busy with her ironing. Henry came to visit. Edith & Wade came for a party costume. Marie came in eve & eve got books read. I paid 10,000 on bank note. |
