Show Tuesday 2 Nan was very busy all day clearing away Christmas things. I was on a strike not able to do anything account a mild nervous prostration. Finished a book I was reading (in the machine) Out for a ride late pm. To Margaret DeVries to Deamer electric & to market. Nan reading Lawrence of Arabia to me. To bed rather late. Wednesday 3 Reading life of Alexander Flander a.m. Very happy to have blind reading machine. Nan Wed 3 Continued busy fixing up after Xmas. I to LL Club 1 pm at Phyllis Glassmans. A bounteous lunch & book review by Zella Walker. Maude Silver brot me home. Nan out pm. but home early 9 pm. Both quite tired. Reading Lawrence of Arabia until sleepy time. Thursday 4 I feeling a little below par all day. In pm Phyllis Shaw brot 2 children to see the Nativity scene. Nan & I down town to bank to cemetery to take Xmas wreaths from our home to cemetery. Dear Dicks grave had the eve from The from door and six others were laid on other graves. Henry came late pm. He is quite recovered from his accident but worried about his work at |
