Show Friday cont. to Rosabelle & made numerous phone calls. Henry visited in p.m. Nans Louise visited am Ordered flowers for Dicks birthday. Saturday 3 Helen Gajewsky brot my coat for fitting. She and my a young friend acting as chauffer visited a long time talking of Europe, etc. I feeling about as usual Henry visited pm. Nan out for eve. Elizabeth with me spent a pleasant eve. reading Beswells San Johnson & some Hubbard comments Don came later. They stayed until 11. Nan home soon after they went. My dear husbands birthday which was noted on the phone by members of the family. Bless him Bless him! Sunday Not able to go to Sunday School but feeling better than yesterday. A very gloomy day yesterday but fine today. I finished reading Helen Kellers book. We had an early diner. Nan went to Bettys & all went to church to have little Paulette Daveene christened. I had company all pm. Peggy, Arch, Margaret, Alan & Anita, Elizabeth & Don, Edith & Wade & later Alice & Charles. A very pleasant and sociable pm. The last ones left at 6 pm. Nan home at 830 A little reading before going to bed. Monday 5 The weather man says Spring is about to come. Warmer today & clear. |
