Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.00. » Credit Hour Requirements: A total of 66 credit hours is required for graduation — 33 of these are required CLS courses, 21 are required support courses, and 12 are required general education courses. Core Clinical Laboratory Skills (3) The CLS 1000 course is designed to teach core clinical laboratory skills to individuals from various health care professions. The curriculum will focus on basic laboratory methods in quality control, quality assurance, information recording and transfer, normal and abnormal laboratory values, and problem recognition.
