Show Thursday 8 Feeling all done up this am. Rain last night, but clear this am. Our fog has left us. Nan had many errands to do. She & I tidied away hand bags and hats & got out some things for our trip. Mr. Childs phoned that he had our air reservation. For Feb 15th 130 PM Friday 9 Nan & I met Edith at Larkins & attended Bella Shipleys funeral. We took Edith home after called for dresses at Mrs. Salesmans & went to Brattens for a late (& good) lunch. Nan did her odd jobs after we got home. (Mr. Buckway visited in am. recalling Hilda & old times) I reading in pm. Nan home at 11. Saturday 10 Gloomy weather, but no fog Henry came in for a short visit am. We postponed proposed trip to Salt Lake. Peggy called for a nice visit. Sunday 11 To Sunday School 10 Home for a few minutes then to Salt Lake. A fine day and the roads dry. Stopped at Capital Cafeteria for a good lunch. Nan left me at Peggys while she visited her family A nice visit with Peggy & Arch & Children. |
