Show Wednesday 28 (nice visit this AM with Mr Ken Knapp Rather weak this am. but revived later. Margaret called also Jessie (Ms. Euch) Edith came 1 pm & sat with me while Nan went out. We talked & listened to reading book Janet came in later Mary Capensky brot my fur coat to fit. Nan & Mary Lundgren got chicken & we had a nice supper. After Nan took Mary home we played checkers and Nan read me to sleep. Thurs, March 1, 1962 Terrible air accident in N.Y. 95 killed she bag ticker cape parade in New York City for Astronauts better this am. March comes in like a lamb. Lots of listening on radio Thursday Cont. Nan reading a book Papas Wife (light but amusing to me. I am trying to force feed myself having lost 10 lbs. Joanie Johnston called. Talk on phone with Mr Childs trying to get trips to Holland fixed. Friday 2 Wen driving the night. Maybe we can call it a Lion after all. I feeling pretty good but duncy. It turned out to be a very stormy day, cold with wind and snow. I reading Helen Kellers book Nan finished reading to me Papas Wife Wrote a letter |
