Show Thursday 29 Margaret & Martha worked. Got study cleared for carpet man to clean the floors of my room & study. The living room filled with all furniture of 2 rooms looks like a tornado had struck. Carpet man thru at noon. Nan got a good lunch for us. Did her ironing. I with no good place to be but found a corner for chickens before going to bed Excused from D of UP Friday 30 Margaret. Martha and Case worked all day and accomplished wonders. Furniture back in study & bed room bath cleaned and living room entirely done & nicely finished. I got exhausted in AM. Friday Cont & left the work without benefit of my direction Nan at the helm gave workers on good dinner. Felt better in pm. but still retired. Ward teachers called in eve. Mr Dunkley and young Mr West Saturday 30 Feeling fit as a fiddle. Had late breakfast Nan done at School of Beauty. Home for rest of evening. Sunday April 1 Nan & I to Conference at 12 noon to 230. Nan got nice lunch after got home. Nan went out. Visitors during the pm. Peggy Meg Edith Melva & Janet & Laurie. Janet suffering from a sprained side giving her much pain Nan home at 830. Game checkers & reading before going to bed. |
