Show Friday 18 Cont. I feeling some better, but still a little shakey Arch phoned with invitation to concert Sat. eve. Will decide in am. Sat 19. Decided to go to concert & came home after. Phoned Arch to that effect. Mr. Shreeve came & got his check. Still wet around so no gardening. We had lunch and started for Salt Lake 130 pm. To Peggys & visited & rested until left for concert. Dinner before. Arch had I & Peggy Margaret two sisters & me as guests. Good seats in tabernacle. With about 1,000 others memorable occasion orchestra (Ormandy conducting perfect & the tabernacle choir at its very best Brahams Requim Mass overpowering Arch brot me to hotel where Nan met us & we came on home arriving 1215 tired but built up. To Harmons for dinner 3 pm & a nice ride after. Laurie visited am. Sunday 20 Cont he was Nan tired too out just a short time. Played a sleepy game of checkers & read newspaper Monday 21 More gloomy weather phoned Mary ac arrangements for our trip starting next Sat. Mr. Rasmussen came to look over sprinkling system. It must be rebuilt cost at 500. To hairdresser 1 pm.(Colleen) Head a little upset eve. Tuesday 22 Mary came & we went over her tkts etc. |
