Show Saturday June 27 We find ourselves alone in a house all nicely cleaned Nan had her daughter Beth for a nice visit in am I listened to the Democratic convention eve sat out on the Terrace in the shade of the Russian Olive Trees and Nan brot out lunch. out. Saturday June 27 Cont We waited until 6 pm & then went out to Maddox for a good dinner bringing enough home for Sunday. A nice ride in the lovely June air. Pretty tired & early to bed. We are all alone and glad of it. Sunday June 28 Had a rather leisurly breakfast of Nans preparing and not too early. I settled down to a good ball game. Vankees vs and the Yankees won in the 8th inning as usual We had a very good dinner prepared yesterday and partaken of with relish today. We did some reading and |
