Show Thursday July 2 1964 A bright am. not too hot & a nice breeze blowing. Maud going on with her work & got dinner for four and a good one. A nice talk on phone with Rosabelle. Nan had a call from her sister Jessie. Ruby came over from Ediths to say good bye. She is packing up to go to Kimball this pm. Miss Anna Rasmussen visited just before lunch. She had news of Emma Jenson who is not able to get around much and her family who are all prospering. Nan & I played a little checkers listened to radio after Maudie left at 130. Thursday July 2 Cont When Martha finished her work at 430 we took her home and went out to Bettys. Russell was ill in am. and could not go to work at Elizabeths as expected. He was better in eve. We took Pattie and 3 small children at for a ride drink at Hawkins. Nan and I also got refreshed. A long ride thru South Weber and saw Myrtle Combe at her dairy these. A big place with 40 cows, selling raw milk to customers who call for it. It was dark when we got home. Ruby had come in pm to say good bye. |
