Show Sunday August 2, 1964 A quiet day at home. Nan went to market & got supplies & we had dinner at home. My leg about the same very painful at times. I had a ball game am. Los Angeles beat Phila. Laurie came in to visit a while. I wrote to Rosabelle. Did not go out all day. Jenna Brown and friend Florence Myers visited Nan. Monday August 3 1964 Lauries birthday. We sent him deviled eggs & other items. I spent a quiet memorable day with nervousness Dorothy visited pm & we talked about Acacia program which I am to give in October Nan & I spent some time with checkers for diversion then to bed. August 4 Tuesday Spent a fairly good night & feel some better but not all ok ac nervousness & restlessness. Elizabeth and Don called a short visit Maudie at work as usual. Nan went to call at mortuary for Mr. M our former SS teacher died Sunday Dr Olson came to give Nan & me a going over early pm. Suggestion about my condition Nan feeling ok We spent quite a time off and on allay my nervousness. Felt better by eve. Did some phoning re death of Billie Barker. Joe will be coming home to funeral of his brother. Talked with Ruby She is leaving Kimbells to go east. Went for a long ride in eve Feeling better playing checkers |
