Show Sunday 167 Not able to get around well ac leg. Quite a severe spell with my bowels. Nan spent all pm giving me attention. In eve Elizabeth and Don came to visit. I played checkers with Elizabeth. Nan went out for a call on Zina and Mary for an hour or so. Edith came in later Nan home at 10 Monday Aug 17 Still afflicted with my leg but bowels some better I am afflicted with nervousness fussiness making rather an unpleasant day Marie came & fixed checks. Sent checks for 2500 dollars for Frank & Fern Margaret did her usual work. With Nans help reading and playing checkers. We went for a ride in the eve & I suffered much pain after. Tuesday August 18 1964 Still suffering with my leg and bowels. Dr. Olson came & went over me. Basically I am OK but it is pain & constipation that are troubling & we will give new medicines & possibly give another shot in my leg. Meanwhile. I am not at all myself. Maudie at work & dear Nan doing everything for me. The pain & very bad and it is abate at times. I do not know what to do if I cant stand it. I have no idea how to have to |
