Show Aug. Monday 31, 1964 Maudie came as usual got a good breakfast & a good lunch. I had a bad time in the night getting in and out of bed. My legs almost useless. The last night I fell going to the bathroom and had a bad bruise on my right leg. In the am. did not feel so badly, but felt results of ball later. Took to wheel chair. Felt very bad all day Monday. Tuesday Sept 1st This is Maudies short day so she could go to R.S. I feeling pperfectly terrible most of the day. In eve started to go for a ride when Arch, Peg & the children came. They are their way home from their summer home in Seattle. They will be in Salt Lake for the winter As they were leaving Mr Knapp came & said hello. He back home from a week of various hospital meetings. We did not get out of the car but continued on a ride to get a malt for supper A little more able to get around. |
