Form and Analysis (3) A study of basic musical form with particular emphasis on the most important contrapuntal and homophonic styles fiom the Baroque through 19th Century. Study will include harmonic and structural analysis. Must be enrolled in or have completed Music 261. 289. Cooperative Work Experience (1-9) Open to all students in the Music Area who meet the minimum cooperative work experience requirements of the department The course objective for each student will be developed between the student, the department, and a suitable employer providing the opportunity for an on-the-job experience. Evaluation of course participants will be shared between the employer, student, and the Music Area. Grade and amount of credit will be determined by the Music Area. May be repeated to a maximum of 9 credits. 292. Choral Literature (3) A survey of major choral masterworks of all historical periods. 310.
