Show Mt. Joy Camp DUP Installs New Officers Friday, May 5, the Mt. Joy Camp of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers held their closing meeting and social combined for the year and adjourned until September. New officers for the coming year were elected and installed with daughter, Mary Smith re¬placing Bernice Bates as cap¬tain and the following officers to aid her. Edna Carter was in¬stalled as first vice captain, Eliza Hall, second vice captain; Olis Smith, secretary; Lydia Parkinson (hold over) registrar Bernice Redden, organist; Grace Kilburn, chorister and Daisy Crouch, Chaplain. Jessie Creager was named historian and Thelma Rogers Parliamentarian. The new of¬ficers were installed by Jessie Creager. The lesson on the "Isle of Man" was given by Daisy Crouch Delicious refreshments were served by the outgoing officers and a pleasant social hour en¬joyed. |
