Show DUP Plans to Plant Tree Apr. 23 On Friday, April 23 at 10 a.m., the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers invite members and the public to attend the Bicentennial Evergreen tree planting ceremony and program. Beginning at the new Stake Center grounds, the County Camp, Mt. Joy Camp and the Morgan Camp Daughters of The Utah Pioneers, will each donate and plant an Ever¬green tree. The group will then move to the Riverside City Park where three more trees will be planted commemorating and honoring our devoted Pioneers in this Bicenten¬nial year. Following the planting they will all convene at the park's outdoor theater where the dedicatory ser¬vices will take place. The program outlined will be the Pledge of Allegience and Flag ceremony. Song, Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. Welcome and presentation of trees by County Captain Grace Kilbourn followed by the song, "Trees." Dedicatory Prayer, Em¬ma Harding. All come, the public is invited. Immediately following the program all DUP members are to remain a few minutes for a special meeting. |
