Call to Order/Pledge of Allegiance. 2. Approval of minutes. 3. Public hearing on proposed amendment to zoning ordinance to change zoning map at 1069 West 1200 South from A-1 to C-2P. 4. Discussion/action on public hearing. 5. Discussion/action on vacating Lot 2 of Christopherson Subdivision located at approximately 2076 West 500 South. 6. Discussion/action on review of the subdivision. and covenants for Mill Creek Subdivision at 2076 West 500 South. 7. Discussion on nuisance ordinance. 8. Update on subdivisions and development projects. 9. Adjourn until October 12, 2005. This agenda is tentative and items can and will change. City Council Agenda - August 18, 2005 - 6:30 PM 1. Call to Order and Pledge of Allegiance. 2. Approval of minutes. 3. Discussion/action on Business Licenses. 4. Discussion/action on appointment of election judges. 5. Discussion/action on approving Barnes Bank as an escrow holder. 6. Discussion/action on planning commission recommendation to vacate Lot 2A of Christopherson Subdivision at 2070 West 500 South. 7. Review status of senior center and municipal building. 8. Officers reports and legislative oversight. 9. Executive session to discuss strategy for the acquisition of real property. 10. Adjourn until Thursday, September 15, 2005, at 6:30 p.m. This agenda is tentative and items can and will change. LOCAL UPDATES Senior Center and Municipal Building. The new city office and senior center should be completed this month. A dedication is being scheduled in October. Election. This November will be a municipal election. Three position were open for filing, and candidates are as follows with incumbent listed first: Mayor: Keith Butler, Gerald Bischoff Council East: Delbert Hodson, Kent Meyerhoffer Council West: Kim Slater Bond Election. Weber Fire District will hold a bond election in conjunction with the municipal election this November. |
