July 4 Wednesday A nice day and a very good day so far as I am concerned Lettie Hancey Rich age 83 wife of my brother George Q Rich died this am at the Dee Hospital in Ogden of Obstruction of the bowels She had been operated three times in the past 7 year, for bowel trouble A dear good woman. I say No He might bring disgrace to his mother and cause great trouble in her Family July 5 - 56 Lettie H. Rich LOGAN - Mrs. Lettie Bell Hancey Rich, 83, of Logan, died yesterday in the Dee Hospital. Mrs. Rich had been active in the Women’s Republican Party in Cache County. She was a member of the LDS Church. She was the widow of George Q. Rich, Logan attorney. Surviving are one son and three daughters, George Q. Rich Jr., Ogden; Mrs. Emeline Sprague, Sacramento, Calif.; Mrs. Lettie Silver, New York City, and Mrs. Polly Griffin, Salt Lake City. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. in the LDS Logan Fourth Ward. Friends may call at the Kenneth Lindquist Mortuary in Logan tomorrow evening and Saturday prior to services. Burial will be in the Logan City Cemetery.
