December 22-23 Sat.-Sun. Nice day, Little colder. I was home and wrote xmas cards most of forenoon. Cleone came up and took me down to Barber Shop for hair cut. Recd box of pears from Royal River from Thair and Peggy and another from Jae and Myrene Brewer. Have read some and recd more xmas cards from Friends Lonesome this afternoon and this evening. No one in. Dr Marion Lewis called this a.m. Nice T.V. Show this evening Ice skating by great Professionals wonderful. - Retire at 10 p.m. -23- Joseph Smith’s birthday 151 years Since his birth. What a change in this E.S. since his birth and what a change in religion in general. We are living in a wonderful time in the World’s history and what wonderful Changes I have seen during my lifetime of 88 years. I attended Ward Priesthood meeting and Sunday School - Special *mas performance - good. Had nice dinner at Royal and Cleones. I have been home all late afternoon and evening - no one has called. Did not go to Church this evening because stomach upset Recd a lot more xmas cards
