October 22 Monday Very Nice day No frost yet I have been home all day until this evening I went over to Jae & Myrenes for nice dinner. I wrote to Ralph and Maren Hardy in Wash D.C. to day, and told them if any thing serious happened to their children while they are on their world tour I would come to Wash D.C. and see to the Family if necessary Myrene called. Man cut lawn and I watered it. Dr Jr. called this a.m. Grover Rich and his son called this afternoon October 23 Tuesday Little rain to day and this evening and weather forecast - cooler to night and presently snow in mountains Cleone and I picked flowers from our garden and called and left flowers at Dee Hospital for Clarence Rich and Ms Fred Arnold age 91 - a widow - at 2928 Adams and at Ms Elizabeth Thomas’s - a widow age 89 at monroe bet 24 & 25 st. Recd a card from June and Avon from New York City - all fine Have read some and spent some time on T.V. program to night. A 8 year boy won $10,000 on anatomy of the heart, and a taxy drive $4000.00 and an old calous woman 75 years old 10,000 on Shakespeare - Wonderful
