Ward Teachers visited me this evening -- Brian Austin Shaw and Fuller Luddington -- good men. Quadruplet Girls Born in Virginia Tribute March 11 - 56 By Associated Press RICHMOND, VA., March 10 -- Mrs. Richard Shaia, 32-year-old Richmond housewife, Saturday gave birth to identical quadruplet girls in a “normal” delivery at St. Luke’s Hospital. “The babies are in as good shape as could be hoped for at this time,” attending physicians said. The quads weighed a total of 16 pounds, 3 ½ ounces and were born over a period of 14 minutes. Mrs. Shaia and her husband, 30, who operates a Richmond restaurant in partnership with his brother, have five other children, ranging in age from 2 to 9. Shaia said no definite names had been selected yet for the four girls. One to Dr Russell G, Means who is working at Tucson Arizona Sister Russell -- Oscar’s Mother died in Salt Lake to day -- good woman age 88 Dollie E. M. Russell Mrs. Dollie E. McEntire Russell, 88, 146-3rd Ave., died of a heart ailment Tuesday at 2 a.m. at her residence. Born Smyth County, Virginia, June 17, 1867, to Eli and Mary Waltrop Johnson McEntire. Family joined LDS Church, pioneered Manassa, Colo. Married in New Mexico Sept. 27, 1889, to Harry H. Russell. Later endowed in Salt Lake LDS Temple. Moved from Conejos, Colo., in 1914 to Provo, then 1915 to Salt Lake City. Practical nurse in Colorado, and during Salt Lake “flu” epidemic. Temple worker 20 years. Husband died 1936. Survivors: sons, Dr. G. Oscar, Washington, D.C.; Dr. Ray M., Beverly Hills, Calif.; Dr. Harry J., Oxford, Ohio; daughters: Mrs. Ed (Mary) Camenish, Provo; Mrs. Walter (Nan) Lindsay, Salt Lake City; Mrs. V. F. (Edna) Victor, Las Vegas, 16 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren. |
