Clark age 102 my cousins Wonderful men and good Went out to Country Infirmary with Cleone - our daughter - to visit Lena an old blind woman age 92 who worked for Sister Chio Feyson for many years Had man cut lawn and I watered it this evening June Smart my son in Law from Los Angeles, Cloteel Parry - Thairs former wife and Richard Budge Rich and his wife Charlotte called and had lunch with me. Richards wife will leave for Honolulu, Hawaii tomorrow where he will intern at the Government hospital there He has just graduated in Medicine at Wash D.C. and is a fine fellow This evening I attended visiting reception of Bp Austin Seofees son & wife at Highland ward - nice June 23-24 Sat.-Sun. Nice day. I have been home all day. Recd letters from Lyman H Rich from New York. also letter from Leona Pratt Bergener. Wife of Geo D. Bergener 144-80 Sanford Ave Flushing 55 N.Y. a niece of mine and a sister of Viola Cralt, Have watered lawn and read some Janath Russell Cannon visited me also Cleone and Lee Shurlffe Nothing special, Retire early. Sunday - 24th I attended our Quarterly Conference this a.m. in Tabernacle Had nice dinner at Dr Jr’s called on Edwin C. Warner on his 70th birthday. He is son of the Pioneers - good man Called to see little boy who is a great singer 13 yrs old Dennis Evans 1166 - 22nd St and heard him sing and encourage him in his efforts. In evening call to see Win E Newman who recently buried his wife - good man and old friend.
