No snow Temp this morning 26o this afternoon 45o I have been home all day except for a walk over to Myrene’s about 11 a.m. Have read some and reflected upon past year One year ago Oertel our eldest daughter was at our home very low and near death suffering from a malignant brain tumor from which she died Feby 28 - 1956 - A dear girl age 60 yo As a family we have been greatly blessed during the past year except for the passing of Oertel. No serious sickness or accidents and all are prospering We have an addition to the Family of four 4 great grand children and another expected any day. They are Scott Eccles Thomas. Tenney Wareing Cannon Jill Ann Glasmann and Shaura Rich - making 69 blood descendants for us to date. 7 children 27 grand children, 35 great grand children all dear, robust healthy children The Lord has greatly blessed us in 1956 Voyee Joyce Alvin Rich’s daughter and her Husband Mr and Mrs James Harker called to see me They live at Alberta can.
