The diaries also include newspaper and magazine clippings, memorabilia and pins. |

Reed Tribune Church Editor LOS ANGELES, CALIF. - A gleaming steel, concrete and marble monument which Sunday will be dedicated to the Lord now dominates the Los Angeles skyline. A 15 ½ Angel Moroni statue surmounts the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’ Los Angeles Temple in Westwood Village section of this coast city. The tower rises 257 ft., 8 ½ in. above the ground, making the four million dollar temple second only to City Hall in height in the Los Angeles area. Much of the temple’s 4 ½ acres of floor space will be occupied by some 6,500 persons at each of the eight dedicatory sessions Sunday through Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. daily. Persons with special admittance cards who aren’t seated in the main assembly room on the third floor (which seats some 2,600 normally) will be accomodated in others of the temple’s 90 rooms. Edward O. Anderson, LDS Church architect from Salt Lake City, has been architect of the temple and has supervised construction. Another Salt Laker, Soren N.
