Show College of Science 619 equipment for DNA isolation and analysis. The laboratory is used for student course work, faculty-supervised student research, and faculty research. Interdisciplinary Programs The Zoology Department participates in the interdisciplinary Neuroscience Minor and the Urban and Regional Planning Emphasis programs. Students who wish to enroll in one of these programs should indicate their desire to do so with the program coordinator who will help them work out a proper combination of courses to fit their particular needs. (See the Engaged Learning, Honors, and Interdisciplinary Programs section of this catalog.) Biology Composite Teaching (BS) • Program Prerequisite: Must meet the Teacher Education admission and licensure requirements (see Teacher Education Department). • Minor: Not required. • Grade Requirements: A grade of "C" or better in courses required for this major (a grade of "C-" is not acceptable). • Credit Hour Requirements: This major requires 120-124 credit hours.
