Show JORDAN BATTLES OGDEN FOR STATE TITLE HOT SCRAP FOR CROWN PREDICTED Beetdigger Clan Accorded Slight Edge in Big Game By MARLOWE BRANAGAN The Tigers of Ogden and the Beet¬diggers of Jordan will battle for the 1935 state high school basketball title at 9 p. m. Saturday in the Deseret; gym. The two teams gained the right to contest for the honor by defeating Dixie and Uintah, respective¬ly, in semifinal combats Friday. Other games of the evening are as follows: Granite vs. South Rich, 6 p. m.; Murray vs. Logan, 7 p. m., and Dixie vs. Uintah, 8 p. m. The battle between these worthy rivals should provide a feature of the contest. Deming, a lanky six-foot-three-inch youngster, is a clever dribbler and his adroit passing makes him a valuable cog in the Tigers' vaunted at¬tack.
