Show Ogden Tigers Win Over Weber Cagers In a basketball game which came, in like a lion and went out like a lamb, Ogden High school took 26 to 11 verdict over their traditional rivals, Weber High school, in a cumbersome fracas Thursday night in the Weber college gymnasium before a crowded house. The contest opened with both teams fighting in characteristic style, with the Warriors hitting the strings for six points while holding their opponents to three points when the horn tooted at the end of the first period. At this juncture Weber looked like the superior team, but this ended their accomplish-ments for the night and they im¬mediately called a scoring moritorium. Ogden closed the second quarter on the long end of a 13 to 6 count. Prom this point on scarcely a flash of team work was presented by either team, and while the Tigers kept scoring intermittently, they did not offer an impressive game. Captain Bengoeshea of the Tigers, Deming, Briggs and Aguirre showed nothing of the ability they packed in the 1935 baseball wars. The need for a Weber player who could score was emphasized from the end of the first frame to the last bark of the timer's horn during which time the Redskins registered only five times from the field, although their attempts were copious. For the Tigers, Deming, acting center, Aguirre and Briggs kept the strings warmed with occassional shooting. Despite the rivarly between the two schools, co-eds of the Ogden High school pep club gave an excel-lent exhibition of sportsmanship at intermission when they formed a block "W", and facing the Weber student body, sang the Warrior school song.
