BEES DROP BATTLE TO OGDEN FIVE South Cache Spill Foes From North Cache as Weber Triumphs Box Elder's invasion of the Ogden high school gym Friday night did little more than prolong the ultimate declaration of the fact that the Tigers will be champions of the Ogden-Logan district for the 1936 campaign, the Bees leaving the lair of the speedy Ogden crew on the short end of a 26-to-48 score. South Cache advanced to the .500 mark in the standings by tripping North Cache rivals, 26 to 15, and Weber remained safely intrenched in third place with a 29-to-17 tri¬umph over Bear River. Thursday evening the Logan Grizzlies turned back Preston 24 to 19. Little Adam Bengoeschea and towering Charley Norton, cocaptains of the Ogden crew, were hot, the former scoring 12 points and the latter 16. Big Pat Deming came through with eight points from his guard post. Jensen, Noble Fishburn and Wally Braegger were the out¬standing performers for the Bees. Weber rolled up a 10-to-l lead over Bear River in the opening quarter of their battle, and the losers spent the remainder of the evening trying vainly to catch up with their flying rivals.
