It certainly was wonderful to gaze out over the waters and see the many lights from the different islands and from the steamers in the bay (14) 9-9-18 We got a bed at the YMCA and in the morning started to hunt up Dave Wilson. We first went to see Willard Ellis as John knew where he lives His wife took us to Wilson’s and found Dave ready to go to Sunday School and he took me with him. Dave took me through the University of California, : showing me the buildings and up to the top of their famous campanile 300 ft. high from which we got a splendid view of the surrounding country. After a lunch at Wilson’s we |
