During that time she documented her personal life and the medical practice of Edward, the community of Ogden and national events such as the outbreaks of WWI and WWII. The diaries also include newspaper and magazine clippings, memorabilia and pins. |

Show Wednesday August 11, 1954. Nice day. I have been home most of day. This afternoon I called on Margaret Pugmire. Bro John Wadedy and Sister Lizzy Thomas all old friends and sick. Cleone Myrelle and Cliff Thomas called Janath & Ted Cannon and children are up the canyon to Myrenes to day. Recd card from Mary at Haniluly today. Also letter from Nancy. Wrote several letters. Thursday August 12, 1954. Nice day. Thair and wife and June and Avon returned from Yellowstone park this evening. they report a good time. I have read most of the day on Life of Hasea Stout early LDS Pioneer. Very interesting. Cleone and Cliff and Myrell called this evening. June and Avon went out to Salt Lake. August 14, 1954. Nice day. I have been home all day. Watering garden and reading and visiting with Thair and his wife. Myrene brought us some nice fish that Joe caught at Jackson Edward Dr Jrs son left for duty in air corp of USA today. Sorry to see him leave. He will be away for 1.5 years. Enjoyed visiting with Thair & wife. |
