That will also be the annual Award day. "CAREERS" HERE What do you want to do in life? What vocation do you expect to follow? Read "Careers" a new set of monograms telling all about 52 separate vocations. These came to our library Tuesday, the gift of Ogden Kiwanis club. They are most interesting worthwhile booklets. EX-PRINCIPALS Prof. George A. Eaton came to Ogden in 1892 with no thought of living in Utah but has lived in this state ever since. He was first a teacher in the Ogden Military academy and then in Ogden High school. Shortly he became principal of the high school, which position he held until 1900, when he was made principal of the Salt Lake High school. In 1903 Dr. George Thomas, fresh from his studies in Germany and with his Ph. D., became principal of Ogden High, which position he held for two years only. He left Ogden to become professor of economics at the U. A. C. . These facts were recalled by these gentlemen as they spoke at the memorial services of Prin., D. H. Adams on Tuesday. They were life long friends of Mr. Adams. BASEBALL Tuesday night, the baseball team captured the first leg of the city championship by defeating Weber High, seven to four. The battery of Greenwell and Anderson proved very effective against the Warrior sluggers and the entire team played a nice game, both afield and at bat. Nice going, boys . JUNIOR PROM Tomorrow night the annual junior promenade will be held in the Berthana. The seniors are the guests; the juniors are the hosts. The seniors have all received invitations which will admit them and are urged to come and have a grand time at the expense of the juniors. We'll see you there. PROOF OF DEPRESSION Here is concrete proof that the depression is still on. In 1929 the; school put on the opera "Sweethearts" and took in cash to the amount of $552.77. In 1933 we put on "Yeomen of the Guard" and took in $70.75. It appears that a goodby number of high school students will report at the University of Utah Saturday morning to take the placement tests that are offered all entering students at the university.
